An abuser could use the always share function to exert a powerful degree of dominance and control over their partner. Suspicious partners will almost certainly have arguments over “Why won’t you share your location with me? What are you trying to hide?” Teenagers are not likely to be happy when parents insist they share their location whenever they go out.
Nevertheless, it’s not hard to imagine scenarios where location sharing can be a problem.
